2018 | Aspect Treetop School Refurbishment
A commercial builder with a particular eye for detail (and appreciative of the elaborately crafted Ashford House built by notable builder and architect Charles Farr in 1882) was required for the refurbishment of the Ashford House. V Konstructions is proud and honoured to have been selected to assist Aspect Treetop School with their project.
Of paramount importance to the success of the project was the supreme consideration of the client’s Autistic students, both in programming – and by way of catering for the execution of the works. The unique characteristics of the project resulted in V Konstructions undertaking the sensitive works predominantly after school hours.
The delicate works to the 1882 built heritage listed Ashford House involved the careful and strategically planned and executed demolition works. Structural upgrades were also undertaken to the Heritage Listed Ashford House by way of additional support structures placed for the new bi-fold windows.
Character maintaining joinery brings the project to life coupled with the new subway tiles and hospital grade vinyl flooring. Completed with hydraulic and electrical upgrades, latest stainless appliances and fresh new paintwork – adding the final masterstroke to the project delivered 4 weeks early!
